ALOM(Advanced Lights Out Manager)集成在v240服务器上，上面提供Serial MGT和NET MGT两个接口。其中，Serial MGT用普通网线加V240自带的那个银色RJ45-DB9转接头连接PC的9针串口，即可进入控制台(console)，提示输入用户名。如果用Notebook连接,因Notebook没有串口，故需要一个DB9-USB的转接头，另外还要安装驱动程序。

如果console没有信号输出，请检查OK状态下的input-device及output-device变量是否设置正确，有以下两种设置方法

方法一： 启动过程中按Ctrl+break键(Sun键盘Stop+A)或进入系统后用init 0命令进入OK状态，输入如下命令：

OK>setenv input-device ttya

OK>setenv output-device ttya

OK>boot

方法二：在正常状态下用eeprom命令

root@DMAP01 # eeprom input-device=ttya

root@DMAP01 # eeprom output-device=ttya

root@DMAP01 # reboot

如果不设置两个变量也可以，把服务器的键盘和显示器都拔掉，系统在找不到键盘和显示器的情况下会从console口输出/入

登录console后

root@DMAP01 # #． --输入”#．” 就可进入ALOM进行配置,返回#提示符，请在sc>下输入console

进入ALOM 使用setupsc脚本来配置,也可以使用setsc命令来对单个变量进行设置。

sc>setupsc
